What if the Green Mountain State held secret, alternate histories and hidden truths that explain more about Vermont than the maps or your Uncle Frank can?
That’s the idea behind The VEU. It’s a small collection of historical fiction with paranormal twists and an investigator’s journey to piece it all together. Think of it as Vermont’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood—a reimagining of history that’s wilder but more believable all at once. I’m keeping the volumes short to keep the story moving. I will release them in bits and pieces like seasons of TV.
Imagine Vermont without its values: prioritizing efficiency and growth over community, industrialization without balance, corporate influence and consumerism, fear and surveillance, and losing connection to place.
In the story, the worlds start to merge. Abigail is charged with plugging the leaks, but the holes are getting bigger and are coming with an alarming frequency.
